The Geokinetics Companies

In September 2006, Geokinetics Inc., expanded its group of companies by acquiring Grant Geophysical, Inc., and its wholly owned subsidiary Solid State Geophysical.

Prior to September 2006, the Geokinetics group of companies worked predominantly on projects for the US and Canadian markets. Now, as a result of the Grant Geophysical acquisition, Geokinetics is a leading geophysical service company offering a broad range of geophysical services to the oil and gas industry across the globe.

The individual companies within the Geokinetics group are well known and have strong brands of their own, all acquisition and processing and interpretation divisions combined will be known as Geokinetics, the individual companies will serve as launch platforms for the Geokinetics brand. Effective October 31, 2007 the company changed the names of the data processing and data acquisition subsidiaries.

Geokinetics Processing, Inc. (formerly Geophysical Development Corporation)
