Procedures and systems are critical to efficient, safe and secure operations. Geokinetics is dedicated to the health and safety of our employees. Our crews are staffed with highly experienced and qualified HSE professionals who establish, implement and monitor our HSE management systems. Leadership and commitment, management training and employee involvement are a continuous process. Our crew members spend a lot of time training and retraining at the start and during projects on health and safety topics. We try very hard to integrate HSE in all our business activities. Geokinetics is dedicated to continuous improvement in all our standards and practices.

Geokinetics runs an HSE Management System of international standard. The corporate HSE Management System is web-based, ensuring the entire company has immediate access to the most current information. This same system is the central database for crew reporting. Reports are submitted electronically, allowing for instant, accurate reporting and information archiving. Geokinetics’s HSE policy summarizes our objectives:

Geokinetics works within the relevant environmental laws and regulations of the countries in which we operate; where there are none, we will perform our operations using the best industry guidelines. Through a continuous process of learning, training, re-training and clear communications we ensure the proper handling of materials (e.g. fuel, explosives, waste) and transportation of equipment and people. One of our main concerns anywhere we work is the effect of our presence on the local communities. It is our social responsibility to strive for minimal disruption and hope only to affect the indigenous peoples and their communities in a positive manner.
